I’m Kristin, a Performance Recovery Specialist for runners! I work with athletes all over the world, showing them how their skeletal alignment and movements affect their bodies inside and outside their sport. It can change your life and get you back in the game, better than ever.
I know what it is like: being injured as a Canadian junior national team athlete, bedridden for months due to illness, chronic shoulder pain because of poor sleep posture, osteoarthritis in my right big toe caused by incorrect shoes and improper foot mechanics… The list is endless.

I’ve had many injuries in my career as a runner and I tried all kinds of treatment…only to be injured again later. After learning about proper movement and skeletal alignment, I learned to take responsibility and ownership of my body –being able to take care of myself.
And, when you have the knowledge about your body, you have better discourse with all your health care practitioners, working together more effectively and resulting in faster recovery. No more hierarchy. Accepting responsibility for your body is hard. It’s not easy. It’s more work!
